Dance helps our youth develop critical skills and habits. These include good posture, fine and gross muscle control, and awareness of the body’s placement in space. The dance studio offers a space for creativity, imagination and connection. Students train their technique, flexibility and fluidity of movement which all contribute to their self-confidence. Dance stimulates the neuromuscular pathways that are crucial for health and well being in life beyond the studio.
